Instance.Connect(): query wait_timeout from server if needed

Max connection lifetime is based on wait_timeout, to ensure that the connection
pool gives up on idle connections before the server kills them. Previously, this
only worked if wait_timeout was explicitly set via params or defaultParams. Now,
if wait_timeout wasn't supplied explicitly, it is queried from the server. This
ensures correct max connection lifetime in more cases.
