Publish the docs site to GitHub Pages

The gates run on every pull request; main additionally deploys. A failing
contrast ratio, a broken link or a resume string reaching a page now fails
before review rather than after publication.

The custom domain is load-bearing rather than cosmetic. A Pages *project*
site with no CNAME is served at cod3smith.github.io/karani, and this
site's prose links are root-absolute, so on a subpath every one of them
404s while the pages still render. So:

  - scripts/write-cname.mjs writes out/CNAME from ORIGIN's host, rather
    than a static public/CNAME that could drift from it. It refuses
    outright if ORIGIN has a path.
  - check-assets fails on a missing CNAME, or one that disagrees with
    ORIGIN -- a deploy answering on one host while every canonical points
    at another is the failure that looks like success.

The workflow deliberately omits actions/configure-pages. The usual
Next-on-Pages recipe passes it `static_site_generator: next`, which
injects exactly the basePath this site must not have; the origin is
pinned in site.config.mjs instead.

`uv sync` with no extras is enough to build: the reference pages are
generated from the argparse parser, the MCP tool listing and the pydantic
schema, and the MCP SDK is a base dependency. Verified against a clean
base-only environment rather than assumed.

Still needs, outside this repository: a CNAME record for `karani` at
cod3smith.github.io, and Pages switched to the Actions source.
