I'm leaving and never coming back as soon as I possibly can. This is beyond insane. If by "unneeded" __str__ definitions you mean "I have no idea what I am doing but I don't like seeing repetitive things and have no understanding of the consequences of this change on other developers nor the fact that it will increase the amount of work that thousands of them have to do all in the name reducing the tiny amount of work that I do on something that DIDNT EVEN NEED TO BE CHANGED (??!?!)" then you are correct. If you care about people continuing to use the software you produce I suggest you don't make changes that will, I don't know, cause RecursionErrors out of nowhere in previously working code.
