Fix CodeQL: build with plain go build so the Go tracer sees it

CodeQL's Go extractor failed on every run ("detected code written in Go
but this run didn't build any of it"): it doesn't trace the compiler
calls made through `go run mage.go binary`, a setup inherited from
golang-template. A plain `go build ./...` works on a clean checkout
because the generated API code and the web/dist placeholder are
committed.
