fix(OTPInput): refuse a rejected character instead of eating the digit under it (#1298)

A character the mask rejects is refused at `beforeinput`, so it never lands and
the digit the slot held stays where it was. A bulk insert that holds nothing
valid still blanks the slot, and the hidden value follows it now. The hidden
value is only written when it actually differs, so an IME commit, dictation or a
drop stops emitting `change` for an edit that changed nothing. `required`
follows the config again, so `update({ required: false })` takes it off.

Brings 5.x onto the behaviour the v6 line landed in #1294 and #1296.
