refactor(carousel): the transform engine lives behind the .slide gate (#965)

Every rule of the legacy carousel is scoped under .carousel.slide — the
class the v5 markup always required — so existing markup keeps this
engine untouched while a bare .carousel is free for the scroll engine
the carousel-scroll-v6 plan ports. Deliberately .slide with full
specificity, not :where(): inside legacy markup these rules must outrank
the scroll engine's. The compiled diff against base is selector-only,
computed styles of resting and mid-transition fade states are equal, and
screenshots compare byte-identical; a bare .carousel carries no legacy
styles. The fade block sits inside the scope one class over the
selector budget — the budget yields, since the compiled specificity has
to stay as it was.
