test: keep compress=false without the patch (can we drop just the patch?)

Correction: the hang reproduces in real browsers (staging, cold cache), not only
CI, so a product-level fix must stay - the CI CPU cap alone does not fix real
users. compress=false is the proven product fix and cannot coexist with the
patch (compression + queueMicrotask floods microtasks) anyway, so the patch is
the only optional piece.

Experiment: compress=false + no patch + DB_CPU_LIMIT=2, 20x. If green, we ship
compress=false + the CPU cap and drop the patch. If flaky, keep the patch too.
