fix: use async prompt_input in CLI, mark task 1.7.5 complete

- Rename prompt_input to prompt_input_async and use session.prompt_async()
- Update TODO.md to mark task 1.7.5 as done (documentation already updated)
- Remove duplicate/legacy content from TODO.md task descriptions

Addresses PR review feedback:
- Task 1.7.5 was already completed in this PR
- prompt_async() is now actually used in the CLI
