fix(e2e): fix multiple E2E test failures from CI

- Create settings-modal-helpers.ts with openSettingsModal/closeSettingsModal
- Add missing path variable definitions in file-attachment.e2e.ts
- Replace hub.publish() with hub.event() in error-scenarios and auth-error-scenarios
- Add error handling to prod-entry.ts and prod-server-embedded.ts to surface startup crashes
