Merge origin/main, bringing in the chart type checks of #2801

Asset charts go through the registry of asset chart types, so the asset chart keeps AssetChartTypeField (and its public names in the API docs),
and #2801's validate_asset_chart_type and ASSET_CHART_BUILDERS are dropped.
CHART_TYPES now lists the sensor chart types only.
The test that the API docs name no asset chart types now checks that they list the public names, and mention the legacy names only as deprecated.
