fix(lexbuf): drop a redundant view in a test, and review fixes

Remove the unnecessary [:] that broke --deny-warn, cover a sliced view with
surrogate pairs and a cursor right after a pair at the end, and word the
boundary guarantee as what the constructor and lexscan provide while the
struct is still pub(all).
