Render the collector template once per test session

Each test rendered its own copy of metrics_collector.py into tmp_path and coverage counted every copy as a separate file, 13 x 446 statements at ~30%, which pulled the total from 98% to 54%. One rendered file per session is measured once: the total is 91%, the remaining gap is the collector template itself, which was not measured before.
