Commit Message

Clarify configuration merging and YAML conversion tutorials (#1384)

Start the first-config tutorial with string interpolation, simplify and annotate merge examples, and explain dictionary union support by version. Show default and resolved YAML output while preserving the original interpolation, with focused output highlighting and links from interpolation guidance.

Validation: current and 2.3 doctests, production site build and generated highlights and anchors, both API drift checks, Ruff formatting and lint, Pyrefly, focused YAML and merge tests (607 passed), and full pytest (9,085 passed, 19 skipped). Independent review found no issues.
