Use a volatile field instead of Volatile.Read/Write for the crypto factory

CodeQL flagged "Static field written by instance method" at the two
Volatile.Read (ref CryptographicEntityFactory) call sites in the instance
method CreateEntity(). Passing a static field by `ref` is conservatively
treated as a write, so both alerts were false positives.

Declaring the field `volatile` and using plain reads and writes has the
same acquire/release semantics as Volatile.Read/Volatile.Write, but no
longer passes the field by reference, which resolves both alerts and
simplifies Register(). The now-unused System.Threading import was removed.
