rbplus: fit to window by default only on screens larger than a phone

Fitting a chart to the window suits a large screen, where a whole chart can be
read at once, but on a phone it cuts the chart into a great many short columns.
Default the fit off on a phone and on elsewhere, deciding by the screen's shorter
side so the choice does not change when the phone is turned. A reader's own
choice is kept as before, so this only sets the starting point.
