* docs: update merge instructions for relaxed branch protection

Branch protection on main was updated to drop the unsatisfiable
1-approving-review requirement (this is a one-maintainer repo, and
GitHub never allows self-approval) in favor of required status
checks (build, Analyze (go), zizmor). Merges no longer need --admin.

* docs: capture zizmor and go.mod gotchas from this session

Adds three learnings surfaced while adding zizmor and retuning
branch protection: go.mod's patch-precision go directive is required
by transitive deps (not stylistic), path-filtered workflows are
unsafe to mark as required status checks, and zizmor's findings
land in code scanning rather than failing the build.
