fix: make computeRelativePath browser-safe and build the demo in CI

computeRelativePath used Node's path/url modules, which broke the vite
build of the browser demo (bundled from src/namespace-diagnostics.ts).
Rewritten using only the global URL, available in Node and browsers.

Also add a CI job that builds demo/ so this class of regression is
caught on PRs instead of only surfacing in the post-merge Firebase
deploy workflow.
