test: cover backup-commit-per-batch, kb update-validation abort, doc UpdateBatch (#123)

- add a backupCommitFn test seam (pure indirection, no behavior change) so
  a recorder can assert handleBacklog calls it exactly once per batch with
  the aggregate item count, catching a per-item-call regression that a
  git-log-only assertion cannot distinguish from correct behavior
- add a git-backed test confirming handleBacklog produces a batch-labeled
  backup commit (OU-71 real Commit() success-path coverage)
- add a test confirming a backup commit failure is logged and swallowed
  rather than failing the write
- add kb.WriteAndUpdateBatch test for the validateUpdates-failure branch: a
  valid create alongside an invalid update errors before the tx, persisting
  neither
- document kb.UpdateBatch as the standalone update entry point kept
  symmetric with WriteBatch for a future update-only CLI surface
