test(storage): assert outside tx.mu in no-snapshot adjacency test

Copilot review: the no-snapshot committed-adjacency test called require.*
while holding tx.mu. A failing assertion runs runtime.Goexit, which fires
the deferred tx.Rollback() — Rollback also locks tx.mu, so the failure path
would deadlock. Capture all results under the lock, release it, then assert.
