Voice edit pass on README; de-template the scaffolding section

Bring the README into my own voice: drop the marketing superlative in the
callCC description, note that the docs/ derivation is an AI-generated research
report used to refine the plan, and fix carried-over typos.

Rework the project-scaffolding tail, which was boilerplate from the
steve-downey/example copier template: dedupe the doubled infra/Makefile/venv
descriptions, demote the stray H1, drop stale "the example" / "docs and mrdocs
not included" references, and name the template origin explicitly.
