Restructure documentation around guides (#107)

* docs: restructure to new guides-based layout

Rather than separate tutorials/how-tos/explanatory sections, we will
group all non-API material in a single guides section. Going forward, we
will focus on shorter guides to highlight specific pieces for larger
composable end-to-end workflows and delegate the writing of end-to-end
tutorials to the IQP.

* docs: guide on operator representations

This guide has been generated with the help of Claude Code v2.1.139
using the Haiku 4.5 model.
