Add Auto/Light/Dark theme picker with header/footer gradients

  - Inline script in <head> sets data-theme before first paint to prevent theme flash
  - Theme picker in chat.js persists selection and tracks OS preference changes for Auto
  - Settings gear button opens a dropdown
  - Full dark theme palette with calibrated hardcoded hex overrides
  - DaisyUI v4 CSS pass-through layer wired up for future theme expansion (dormant)
  - Header and input area get an HSL lightness gradient (+15 L, same hue/saturation)
  - Search banner collapsed to a single line with inline login hint
