Improve the input component and config module integration (#2685)

This PR primarily improves the input component by moving away from Sass variables to CSS variables and config module integration. This allows for better customization options of the input component as well as output control via the config module. Documentation has also been updated to reflect these changes.

**Additional changes**

- `docs` - Fixed reset button styles for `CodeExample` component.
- `docs` - Fixed `scroll-margin-top` causing scrolling of select elements inside `CodeExample` component.
- `core` - Added expand and chevron icon options to svg mixin.
- `core` - Second argument of svg mixin now takes a map of key/value pairs to search and replace in the svg string. These are matched against the `$-svg-attributes` map for default values and the token to search/replace based on the provided attribute name.
- `checkbox` - Fixed redundant CSS variable chaining output.
