fix: prevent HashMap::merge_in_place from growing when merging with self

Add physical equality check to return early when self and other are the
same HashMap. Without this check, merge_in_place(map) would iterate over
all entries and call set_with_hash, triggering unnecessary grow() calls
when the map is at 50% capacity.
