chore: bump version to 14.0.0

This major release restores breaking changes that were incorrectly released
in v13.2.6 and subsequently rolled back in v13.2.7.

BREAKING CHANGES:
- Upgrade MongoDB driver from v4 to v6.8.0+
- Require Node.js >=18.17.0 (was >=16.14.0)
- Upgrade TypeScript from v4.7 to v5.5.2+
- Upgrade Chai from v4 to v5.1.1+
- Replace chai-spies with sinon for testing
- Update MongoDB API usage for v6 compatibility
- Remove bson and @types/connect dependencies
