refactor: Use standard Error cause mechanism

The custom handling of the `cause` property within the
`LocalStorageError` class has been removed.

This leverages the standard JavaScript mechanism for error
chaining by passing an options object `{ cause: error }` to
the constructor, simplifying the error definition.
