fix(web): adapt existing unit tests to recent changes

Updated tests to make the suite pass after recent changes, without
restructuring or moving them to their proper places. These improvements
are planned for later, once things are more stable and there's time to
clean up.

One test has been temporarily disabled until the final wording is ready.
