refactor: remove deprecated functions and update buffer interface

This commit removes the deprecated `to_string`, `to_unchecked_string`, and `write_sub_string` functions from the buffer module. It also updates the buffer interface to use a generic type `T` instead of a specific `Buffer` type in the `Logger` implementation. The changes aim to streamline the API and encourage the use of the new methods.
