Refactor interpolation and YAML parsing logic.

Replaced `use_interpolation` with `interpolation_func` for more flexibility in specifying interpolation methods. Refactored YAML specs and data parsing with modular functions to enhance readability and maintainability. Added robust support for pickling, enabling efficient material loading and caching.
