pre_build()

Defiend pre_build(). Runs once before the main Sphinx docs build. Needed
to fill out URLs for each version and avoid collisions (e.g. a branch
name _static vs the generated directory _static). Also takes care of
exporting all commits. Exported files will be re-used with the final
build.
