logpdfs handle mixed eltype inputs (#503)

* removing explicit Float64 casts in MvNormal

- necessary for generalizing for autodiff

* generalizing logpdf to mixed types

- new function partype finds a type capable of representing all a
  distribution's parameters
- logpdf and pdf now allocate arrays based on partype(d) and eltype(X)
  to pass to inplace versions

* doc fixes

* exporting partype

* mean and cov must have same eltypes for multivars

- eltype is now first parameter everywhere
- promotion is done by helper function promote_eltype
- tests added

* bumping PDMats requirement
