Commit Message

Uses add_main_option_entries to support options GIO (>=2.40).

The feature used 'add_main_option' was introduced in 2.42, but the
'get_option_dict' is available from 2.40, so options are extracted when they are
not even defined for some versions of GIO.

Removes the dependency check for GIO 2.42 since 2.40 is sufficient to enable
option parsing.
