fixed issue with freeipmi lan info and auto fix

    * previously if the result of the command errored out but the
      location of the freeipmi command was in a deeply nested folder
      the character count of the erorr was over 100 characters
      which signaled there was actually no error.  We know additionaly
      check for over 100 characters and a successful return value.

   * These kinds of characther length checks are required in older
     versions of freeipmi where error codes were meaningless.
