daemon: refcounting tasks, partial multiquery

the asynchronous requests may complete after the task is already
resolved, so for this reason there was a task invalidation code in
place. this is not however possible with multiple pending tasks unless
we keep them in an array.
so the pending io requests refcount the task and the task is freed only
after the last io request completes
