Handle if a redirect contains an invalid URI

Datasets such as https://data.gov.uk/dataset/birps-british-institutes-reflection-profiling-syndicate-westline-seismic-survey-data-1993 have resources that redirect to
error pages (bad). And the redirects contain
invalid URIs (also bad) due to having spaces in
the error message param (so so bad)
