Extract helper functions to fix shadowed names

The find_winning_positions() method was fairly log with logic for
checking rows, columns, and each diagonal. Each of these items is
extracted to a named helper function. This both resolves the
shadow-unrelated clippy warning and makes the find_winning_positions()
logic easier to follow.
