New projectlayer property:

        /** If true (default false), do not move the selected feature to the front of the SVG stack */
        disableMoveSelectionToFront: boolean = true;

By default, when a (not point) feature is selected in leaflet, the selected feature moves to the front of the SVG stack. This is not always desirable, so you can disable it by setting this property to true in the projectlayer description (in project.json, for example).
