Fragments save/restore their own controllers if they are not managed by the root delegate fragment. For example, when a MvcFragment is used in a FragmentStatePagerAdapter, the FragmentStatePagerAdapter will manage the fragments state while swiping. In this case, the state of the controllers of the page fragments won't be managed by root delegate fragment but the FragmentStatePagerAdapter
