* Support matplotlib path effects for text elements

Small addition but very useful to easily draw a stroke around text labels (e.g. https://matplotlib.org/3.1.1/tutorials/advanced/patheffects_guide.html#making-an-artist-stand-out)

* Add path_effects param to the DEFAULT_PARAMS

* Add link to patheffect documentation
