AppDV now only saves field values if dirty (i.e. changed)

This change was needed in inline add record mode for fields like
fk cols which are nullable and left unset by the user. The more
correct fix would be to ensure that all fields properly return null
and empty string, but until this is the case, we need this sort of
workarounds
