Replace default globalScope object definition from {} to global

It turns out that a global variable is always defined, either as window, self, or global (ref: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Glossary/Global_object). Thus, there's no need to add an extra default object, and the final fallback can be 'global'
