Add additional config files for code consistency (#105)

* Add .gitattributes file to sync everyone's line endings in this project

This setting forces Git to normalize line endings to LF on check in and
prevents conversion to CRLF when the file is checked out.

* Add .editorconfig file to maintain consistent coding styles

EditorConfig helps maintain consistent coding styles for multiple
developers working on the same project across various editors and IDEs
