Replaced the default equality tester.

It still doesn't transverse nested objects, but now assumes those are equal rather than inequal. In this library, the odds of having false negatives (values wrongly marked inequal) are far greater than the odds of having false positives (values wrongly marked equal). This change helps prevent false negatives.
