Touch and light sensor improvements (#9)

* enhance input enum to model active and passive status

* more documentation on how the stop button interacts with running programs

* introduce events and listeners for touch and light sensors

* added test to exercise the input ports on the hardware using touch and
light sensors
* removed some unused default logging behavior and converted listener
  interfaces to functional interfaces

* move SensorValue into sensor package

* segregate input parsing and listener registration from serial event listener

* additional tests for sensors to increase coverage
