Merge pull request #584 from shopgate/PWA-1609

This is the epic branch and the changes were already reviewed when they were merged here. An additional test has been done on both device types to make sure everything together works as expected. Unit tests still green (travis check passed). There is no need for another review -> merging with administrator privileges.
