fixed tests for ut_helper

There seem to be discrepencies between how python 2.6 & 2.7 unittest
deal with calling setUp and setUpClass. For the purpose of
holmium.core.TestCase it is sufficient to call the setup/teardown
methods explicitely to cover the implementation.
