* there is only one search bar on the vms page
the search bar searchs in all categories
applied refactorings according to #504

* fixed filter function

* fixed tests

* fixes view tests

* made the link in notifications an extra column

* refactored view

* Merge branch 'dev' into #406/DashboardRefactoring
