Refactor code and bring it more in line with Ruby style guide.

- Remove extra empty lines at class body beginning and end.
- Align the elements of array literals when they span more than one line.
- Percent literals should be delimited by ( and ).
- Indent access modifiers like private.
- Do not suppress exceptions.
- Make sure lines aren't longer than 90 characters.
- Remove space around the exponent operator.
- Methods should not be longer than 10 lines of code.
