Various 'filter' fixes and tweaks

- Fixed bug where 'filter' command would fail on standard input ('-')  Due to
  CLI unit testing methodology, this can't be caught from test case.
- Set "wildcard" to be the default match mode (as described in the docs)
- Implemented output modes (-l, -c, -b) two of which were previously noted in
  the CLI docs, but were not functional.  Whoops.
- Added '--verbose' mode to enable extra output for a small number of functions.
  Now the number of entries loaded from a file (via the "file://<PATH>" CLI
  syntax will only be reported if verbose mode is enabled.)
- Fixed inconsistency where case sensitivity was not considered for the either
  the '--keep-attrs' or '--reject-attrs' options.
