Merge branch 'version/2.5'

* version/2.5:
  Added a note about the levels of protection offered by eHive databae connections
  For extra safety, call those methods on the DBC
  Added a comment about a potential bug calling last_insert_id after long-running statements
  Comment about hash parameters not being carried over to the new object
  Catch disconnection errors in prepare() too
  bugfix: call the dbh methods on the dbc because the latter will wrap the call with a "MySQL server has gone away" catcher
